Why Consider Chalice for a Legacy Gift?

There is Nothing More World-Changing Than the Potential of a Child

plannedgiving2As we work together to remove the seemingly insurmountable obstacles imposed by extreme poverty, we are changing the world one child, one family, and one community at a time, preparing the way for God's bountiful harvest.

A legacy gift given to Chalice will keep on giving in immeasurable ways. By educating an impoverished child and lifting them out of extreme poverty and into a world of possibilities, your gift will positively impact the lives of future generations.

It's important to remember that there is no such thing as an insignificant gift. Anyone can arrange to leave a charitable gift in his or her estate plans - no matter how large or small. Chalice Faithful Sowers

faithfulsowersIn the spirit of gratitude, Chalice has established a legacy recognition programme called 'Chalice Faithful Sowers' as a way of saying Thank You to our charitable donors who have included and confirmed a legacy gift to Chalice in their will.

This programme provides a way for us to show our love and appreciation to donors who have provided a lasting legacy. These gifts will produce a harvest which generations will reap tomorrow, thanks to the seeds sown today.

If Jesus cut open an apple, would He just see the seeds within, or would He see the potential of the seedlings that will sprout? Jesus not only sees what is in front of Him, but sees the potential of how it will change the world. After all, anyone can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed.

If you are an unknown Chalice Faithful Sower who has already listed Chalice with a bequest or other future gift, please let us know. We would appreciate the opportunity to say thank you and to extend an invitation for you to join our Chalice Faithful Sowers Society. Together, we can be partners in sowing the seeds of tomorrow by the legacy we leave today.

Paul, in his letter to the Corinthians, said, "There is no difference between the man who plants and the man who waters; God will reward each one according to the work he has done."
