Who we are looking for:
A mission-connected and experienced leader, communicator, and planner to join our organization as International Operations Manager – Latin America (IOM-LA). The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, and will be responsible for the overall development, management and monitoring of Chalice’s overseas sponsorship and non-sponsorship programs while working to ensure operational accountability and transparency in accordance with Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) requirements in the use of Chalice funds.A mission-connected and experienced leader, communicator, and planner to join our organization as International Operations Manager – Latin America (IOM-LA). The IOM-LA works in support of the mission of Chalice, and is also responsible for participation in management meetings, the development of department budgets, and ensuring efficiency of operations and quality of services; They will also work collaboratively as part of the International Operations Manager team on cross-regional initiatives.
The International Operations Manager is required to travel to sponsor sites in Latin America and requires that they are familiar with the Catholic Church, its social teachings, and structure, and active participants in a parish. This position has a prospective start date of September 2024. This position requires quarterly travel to Latin American countries where Chalice has partnerships, including Bolivia, Chile, Guatemala, Paraguay, and Peru.

Chalice (Canada) is looking for an experienced Comptroller to supports the CFM in managing Chalice's financial affairs by overseeing, supervising, and maintaining the organization's accounting activities and processes. The Comptroller prepares the interim monthly and final yearly financial statements and supporting schedules. The position involves supervision over general and specialized accounting areas such as receivables, payables, and fixed assets; administration of payroll; and preparation of statutory financial reports as required by government agencies. The Comptroller also acts as the first point of contact with the organizations’ banks and other financial service providers to administer Chalice’s business with them. The Comptroller works within and contributes to Chalice's faith and prayer-filled environment.

We are almost entirely supported by donors and sponsors obtained from presentations made in Catholic churches across Canada.
With the support given us, Chalice globally supports human development programs and capital projects that help alleviate the impact of poverty. The Chalice sponsorship program is the primary means by which we invite and receive donations and is also the central focus in our work with our managing collaborators at sponsor sites.
We start every day in prayer as the foundation of our work and we honour Mary, mother of the church, as our patron saint.

Position Summary:
Chalice is looking for an experienced, organized and mission connected leader to join the organization as the Human Resources Coordinator. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of human resources, reporting directly to the President, including employee relations, compliance, talent management, and identify labor global trends to prevent issues in our sites overseas. This role has the potential to transition into a manager position over time. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at balancing the needs of employees and the organization as both a Catholic Lay Organization and as a Canadian Charity.
